Social distancing:

Our three lodges have independent entrances, our breakfast baskets and dining plates are brought to your private terrace.

You are, at the maximum, only 3 couples to enjoy the garden of 4500m2 and the swimming pool of 20m long.

Hygiene :

We follow government guidelines (control kits published by the Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of Health) to ensure the protection of our staff and the disinfection of your lodge before your arrival. 53 points of contact are strictly disinfected before your arrival.

Yes, your spa is on your private terrace, sheltered from the rain and prying eyes but not from the view of the starry sky! In addition, the water is changed and the spa is cleaned before your arrival. The water is heated to 37 ° (Body temperature) and you will be fine regardless of the outside temperature.

Everything except alcoholic drinks (which are offered at an unbeatable price) and additional meals (plates for dinner, optional). Otherwise, everything is included: The delicious breakfast of course, but also soft drinks and waters, teas and herbal teas, our four organic espresso flavours… and all that at will. There is also no supplement for the use of your spa, hammam, swimming pool, bikes, fitness room, etc

Our three lodges all offer the same services at the same price (Spas, sauna / hammam, air conditioning, MyBed Sofitel 180cm bed, wifi, Ipad, minibar, organic coffees, Row&Ma organic teas, mountain bikes, etc.), only the decoration differentiates them. You choose according to your taste.

Luxe has a magnificent view of the swimming pool, facing south, but is therefore (a little) more visible from the garden and the swimming pool.

Calme and Volupte are totally hidden from outside eyes, no one can see you on your terrace.
Between Calme and Volupte, the difference is the view: in height and towards the south for Calme, view of the garden and freshness welcome in summer for Volupte which is oriented to the East.

We enjoy a privileged location, in a protected natural area called Les Garrigues Nîmoises, in the middle of oaks, pines, arbutus, hackberry trees. We share our land with a multitude of birds, cicadas, squirrels, bees and sometimes wild boars and roe deer, while being 4km from the arenas of Nîmes, the Maison Carrée and the pedestrian downtown with all its restaurants and shops. A little further away are the Pont du Gard, Uzès, the Camargue, the Cévennes. It’s the countryside at the gates of the city!

Our “eco-responsible luxury” concept required thoughts and investment, but we are proud to have built a PopUp wooden house with exceptional energy performance, to heat your spa or cool your lodge using photovoltaic panels and heat pumps, treating waste water by phyto-purification, etc. If the subject interests you, we will be happy to show you all of it!

With their private terraces as large (30m2) as the bedrooms, you live as much outside as inside at Bien Loin d’Ici. It is often on the terrace that the day begins with breakfast. All this gives an air of “Out of Africa” which inspired us the exotic term of Lodges.

Not at all ! Here you are in couple. Your breakfast is discreetly left in a basket outside your door, at the time of your choice, and you can take it wherever you want: on your terrace with the squirrels, or in your room. And if you take a plate for dinner , it’s the same. If you come with couple of friends, you can share your meals at the swimming pool or at the pool house.

No, it was a choice we made for several reasons. The first is that Bien Loin d’Ici is a place that offers the calm and serenity of a place for lovers. In addition, the lodges only have a large double bed.

There are no children, we are between adults, so we decided to leave the swimming lane at your disposal 24 hours a day, under your responsibility, because there is nothing more exhilarating than a midnight swim under the starry sky of the South, and some people love to swim lengths early in the morning, before a good breakfast ! It may happen, however, to cover the pool for a cool and windy night so that it does not cool too much, but it is rare.

Yes, as long as the temperature does not naturally reach a minimum of 24°, which can happen in April or October

We love animals but Beijo, our little cat and mistress of the domain, does not like them all. So contact me and we will see if cohabitation is possible (with a well-behaved little dog who does not run after cats, it works, for example)

In the first years, every Saturday in July / August was booked in advance, which prevented customers wishing to stay longer from booking. But don’t worry, June and September benefit from the same sunshine and you will be able to take only one night (although, according to all, one night is not enough to enjoy everything!)

Your sweetheart, that’s it ! We provide you with the rest : Food and drinks, an ipad with lots of good music, a bluetooth speaker, a guitar, towels and bathrobes, biodegradable single-use slippers, organic toiletries, a hairdryer and a hair straightener (yes, yes!) and above all a super comfortable 180cm wide MyBed by Sofitel bed. Oh yes, take a swimsuit !

Yes, even if we recommend very good restaurants 10 minutes by car, we see that many of you want to take advantage of the place for the evening, and that’s understandable! We therefore offer two kinds of hearty dinner plates, to order 24 hours before because they are composed of fresh quality products bought at Les Halles de Nîmes the same morning.

• Argentinian plate based on home made Empanadas from restaurant Che Boludo, first plate and dessert. Veggie option available, ask us ! 60 € per couple

or

• Gourmet plate (cold) composed of fine cold meats and delicatessen from the halls, a selection of cheeses refined by Vincent Vergne (Best Craftsman of France), a salad and a homemade dessert. 60 € per couple

You can also use the barbecue in the pool house, we will provide plates and cutlery.

And almost every Tuesday night it’s “Chef à la maison”, a magnificent gastronomic experience proposed by Eve-Laure Pons that will serve you on your terrace.

Yes, Bien Loin d’Ici is only 4km from the city center. To get there, you can borrow our electric bikes VOLTAIRE, or reach (1.6km) the bus station n°6 which serves all Nîmes in a few minutes. You will find the map and schedules here

The TGV station Nîmes Center is only 10 minutes from us but since December 2019 exists the new TGV station Nîmes Pont du Gard. It is much further (18km) and isolated. Choose the first ! You can also take a plane from London and Brussel
